Covering Chapter 3 in class. Both classes are now up to page 37 prior to Christmas and should have a good understanding of the factors that affect climate, different types of condensation, and low and high pressure systems. We have covered #2 on page 37 in class. Students should also understand #1 on page 37. Will pick up with Factors(Latitude, air masses, ocean currents, proximity to water, and elevation) Affecting the Climate of Atlantic Canada (p. 37 after Christmas.

Both classes will now do open book quiz on Chapter 2 on Monday, December 11, 2006. Students should have #1 a, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 on page 29 complete. Quiz will be objective with one diagram to label. Read Chapter 2 carefully to prepare and review notes.

WIll complete Chapter 2 this week. WIll be given in class assignment on material. Students should have completed activity on time zones and questions on Page 25; #1,2, & 3. In addition on Page 29: #1 (a), 2, 5, & 6.
