Both classes have started work on the topic which is about population trends and settlement patterns in Atlantic Canada. In addition we will cover population issues on a global basis. Students should be reading Chapter 4 of the text. Class 9-1 has to complete the questions on Figure 4.4 and Table 4.2 on page 51.
Test handed back in last class. Students with less than 70% have to complete all work they had wrong and get test signed by parents.
Students experiencing difficulty should see me to schedule extra help.

Will be testing during the week of February 5 - 9, 2007. Portion of the test where students have to create a climograph and answer questions will be on Monday (9-1) and Tuesday (9-2). The remainder of the test will be on Thursday, February 8 for 9-1 and Friday, Febraury 9 for 9-2.
Students should then begin reading Chapter 4 in preparation for work on the next outcome:
1.5 to identify and trace population and settlement patterns affecting Atlantic Canadians from the aboriginal to early new-world immigration to the present day.
