Studying the Greenhouse Effect and Global Warming this week. Completed diagram in class and looked at animations of the Greenhouse Effect and the carbon cycle. Students should understand page 41 especially and be able to respond to the phrase "Think Globally, Act Locally". Class 9-1 has to have to respond to "Explain the Greenhouse Effect and why has become a problem" for Tuesday's class. 9-2 will work on this on Monday.

Working on Global Warming and Greenhouse Effect this week. Notes in class and page 41. Make sure you understand how the greenhouse effcet happens.

Students have to complete an assignment on Climate. Assignment involves creating four climographs and answering questions on the material found in the graphs. Assignment is due on Monday, January 22 (9-2) and Tuesday, Janaury 23 (9-1). Neatness and organization are important. Students will have a couple of classes to complete some of the work as well.

Students will be receiving notes on Factors that affect the climate of Atlantic Canada. Will complete in class activity on weather records. Need to be able to explain and understand why the location set the record. Read Chapter 3 for homework.
