Working on Chapters 6 & 7 since returning from the Easter Break. Students have received extensive notes on stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination and racism. They should be able to explain why stereotypes are false. In addition students are to start work on a project about a person or group that would be a part of Atlantic Canadian culture. They have been given a list that outlines the requirements. In-class presentations begin on Friday, May 4, 2007. Projects can be completed as individuals or groups of two. Will have a couple of classes to work on the project and to get advice but the majority has to be completed out of class.

**Students should also be returning their Program selection sheets for the fall to the office now.
